British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly acquitted of raping woman in Australia

British rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been found not guilty by a Perth jury of raping a woman in an Australian hotel room. The court, at the District Court of Western Australia, acquitted him of three counts of sexual penetration without consent and other related charges, though he was found guilty of two assault counts involving bites to the woman’s neck and breast. The eight-day trial heard the pair met after his nightclub performance during a September 2024 tour. Jurors also failed to reach verdicts on three additional penetration counts. Sentencing is set to be decided at a hearing on August 21.
