Chino Hills suspect charged with murder after kidnapped businessman found in trunk, prosecutors say

Jianquan Bo, 66, one of two brothers accused in the kidnapping case in Chino Hills last week, has been charged with murder, San Bernardino County prosecutors announced Monday. Prosecutors allege Bo and his older brother, Zhengfeng Bo, 67, drove from Irvine to the 2100 block of Monteverde Drive, where they shot 60-year-old Shukur Aikebaer and placed him in the trunk of their silver Nissan Altima. After a high-speed chase, deputies stopped the vehicle at Wandering Ridge Drive. Surveillance footage captured the moments before deputies opened fire; authorities said Bo shot Aikebaer before deputies killed the accomplice.
