Nation's top LB commits to Texas A&M

Texas A&M strengthened its 2027 class by landing Tampa linebacker Kaden Henderson, the nation's top-ranked LB, in a live commitment on the Pat McAfee show. Henderson is the No. 1 linebacker, No. 4 in Florida, and No. 26 nationally, per Rivals, selecting the Aggies over Notre Dame and LSU among others. The commit elevates A&M to 23 total pledges, including five 5-star prospects (Henderson, Kennedy Brown, Mark Matthews, Zyron Forstall, Kamauri Dorsey) and five more top-100 recruits. While June is early, A&M appears on track for the nation's top class this cycle, a feat the program has achieved only once before. Coach Mike Elko’s leadership is a central reason for the momentum.
