NAVER D2SF Invests in On-Device AI Startup TraceWeave

NAVER D2SF announced an investment in TraceWeave, an on-device AI startup led by CEO and co-founder Jaeyoung Park. The company says TraceWeave uses its own post-Transformer AI architecture, Phase-TITAN, designed to understand long contexts and carry out multi-step tasks while keeping memory use constant—an approach aimed at running AI agents on memory-constrained devices. NAVER D2SF said it backed TraceWeave for its core technology enabling agents on such limited hardware. The announcement also notes that TraceWeave completed a paid pilot in mobility and is now pursuing commercialization across robots, drones, smart glasses and other platforms. The investment was announced on Oct. 20, 2026.
