Redwood Software says its managed file transfer offering will be sold as an SAP Solution Extension, branded as SAP Managed File Transfer by Redwood. The company announced the availability on Oct. 26, 2026, positioning the product as a way to securely automate enterprise file transfers for mission-critical operations. Redwood says the zero-trust architecture supports scaling without legacy managed file transfer limits such as performance ceilings, per-connector fees, or vendor lock-in. It also points to migration for customers moving off SAP Process Integration and SAP Process Orchestration ahead of December 2027 end of mainstream maintenance, with claims of reducing integration timelines by 50%–70%.
