Because she didn’t use a traditional presale she expected scalpers could exploit, her team worked through the sign-up list manually to identify what it believed were genuine fans, extending a pre-sale code by email. Raye stressed it was the first time she’d seen bots on this scale and urged fans to buy at face value. The venue said it already protects its systems and called for tougher law enforcement.
