Donald Trump claimed a “SICK conspiracy” is targeting AI, while arguing the U.S. doesn’t need new regulations—because it already has effective “guardrails” in the form of a “strong and smart (High IQ!) president.” In a post on Truth Social, he argued the administration has already prevented “AI people” from doing “bad” things through “tremendous CRIMINAL and REGULATORY power.” Trump also accused conspiracists of being happy about AI and said the U.S. is leading China in AI.
