Vivo X500 Pro Max first impressions: Vivo came to play, and the competition should be nervous

Vivo is pitching the new X500 series as more than a simple refresh, with three distinct models: X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. While a global launch is “coming soon,” the preview focuses on the X500 Pro Max for international buyers, not the Chinese variant. The lineup differentiates display size, processing, and cameras. The X500 Pro Max uses the flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, paired with a 6.85-inch AMOLED display, and Vivo says it keeps an IP69 dust and water resistance rating. In the box, buyers get a case, a USB cable, and a 90W charging adapter, plus an optional Photographer Kit.
