Enzo Maresca dreams of Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez replacing Rodri at Man City
Manchester City are eyeing Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez as a potential “dream successor” for Rodri, according to Gianluca DiMarzio. City manager Enzo Maresca has hinted he would be open to Fernandez leaving Stamford Bridge this summer if negotiations progress. The report notes Chelsea rate the 25-year-old highly and may resist talks, especially given a reported £120 million (€140 million) price tag. Fernandez previously faced a suspension from Chelsea last season for statements suggesting he wanted to leave the West London club, with speculation linking him to Spain. On the pitch, he produced 10 goals and four assists in 36 Premier League appearances, plus three goals and two assists in the UEFA Champions League as Chelsea were eliminated in the round of 16.
