Sta. Rita Hills, the cool-climate California appellation between Buellton and Lompoc, is marking multiple milestones as it leans into its reputation for pinot noir and chardonnay. Rita Hills celebrates its 25th anniversary while the Sanford of that 1976 wine marks 50 years.
