Kansas City Chiefs Make Another Arrowhead Stadium Announcement Ahead of Controversial Exit

The Kansas City Chiefs and G.E.H.A. announced that the stadium will be renamed Arrowhead Stadium starting with the 2026 NFL season, ending the venue’s current naming-rights deal. The teams said the change is a mutual decision meant to restore the building’s historic identity while keeping their partnership intact. G.E.H.A. will continue supporting several community and military initiatives, including the Chiefs Military Mission with programs such as base visits, holiday outreach, training camp events, and the annual Salute to Service game. This announcement comes days after coach Andy Reid discussed the Chiefs’ plans for a new domed stadium in Kansas scheduled to open before 2031.
