Hull FC: Hull sign Wood from Warrington on month's loan

Max Wood, a 21-year-old prop, has joined Hull FC on a month-long loan from Warrington Wolves, with a week-to-week recall option. He could make his Hull debut in Saturday's Super League clash with Huddersfield Giants at the MKM Stadium, boosting Andy Last's pack for four weeks across a trio of home fixtures before Magic Weekend. Wood spent four seasons with Wigan as a teenager and has logged 45 senior appearances since his professional debut for Midlands Hurricanes in 2023. He has also spent time on loan at Oldham. Hull confirmed the deal alongside loanees Jeremiah Mata'utia and Ethan O'Neill extending for another month.
