Preliminary findings in newly filed court records say the bullets that killed two people at a Seattle festival over the weekend did not appear to come from the gun a 15-year-old suspect allegedly used, police said. Ashley Whitehead, 56, and Carlos Israel Sanchez Villalba, 44, were killed in the July 26 shooting at the Bite of Seattle event near the Space Needle. Police said 19-year-old Junior Cee Niko-Semo, believed to be an associate of the teen, also died at the scene. Authorities believe four firearms were used, based on a review of 13 shell casings found at the location. The teen, charged in King County on July 29, allegedly used a “ghost gun” and prosecutors are seeking to charge him as an adult. The filings noted recovered projectiles “appear to exclude” the Polymer80 handgun in the deaths.
