Actress Selma Blair arrested after allegedly attacking attendants on flight
Actress Selma Blair was arrested and taken to a hospital after authorities said she attacked two flight attendants on a Delta Airlines flight. Airport officials said they responded Sunday to a call about a “physically abusive passenger” on the Los Angeles-to-New York flight. The New York Port Authority said two flight attendants were hurt and one was taken to hospital. Blair, 54, was placed in custody and transported for medical evaluation, while the FBI began investigating the incident. Her publicist told the BBC that she experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct, and that she received immediate medical attention after landing and was in stable condition. Delta said law enforcement responded as the flight arrived at JFK and that the incident caused no operational impact. Delta reiterated its “zero tolerance” stance for unruly behavior.
