Selma Blair arrested after in-flight incident
Actress Selma Blair was arrested Sunday after an alleged in-flight incident involving Delta Airlines, according to New York Port Authority officials. The agency said Port Authority Police responded around 11 p.m. on Oct. 11 at JFK to a report of a “physically abusive passenger” aboard Delta Flight 938, which had arrived from Los Angeles and was parked at the gate. Blair, 54, was identified as the suspect, taken into custody, and transported to a hospital for evaluation. Port Authority officials said two flight attendants reported injuries; one was transported for further assessment. Delta said law enforcement responded upon arrival and emphasized “zero tolerance” for unruly behavior, adding the flight had no operational impact and landed ahead of schedule. Blair’s representative told TMZ that a medical emergency preceded the alleged conduct, and she was in stable condition.
