Air Transat Cancels This 9-Hour Transatlantic A321LR Route: See Map Now
xCruzo Brief
Air Transat canceled its seasonal Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Berlin Brandenburg (BER) A321LR route for summer 2027, ending a service launched just two years earlier. The Canadian leisure carrier had planned about a nine-hour flight up to three times weekly, but the updated schedule removes Berlin entirely. The change leaves Air Transat with no destinations in Germany and eliminates the only nonstop connection between Toronto and Berlin. Still, the airline is adding five European routes for summer 2027 and preparing for the arrival of its first A321XLR aircraft. Toronto-Berlin was scheduled to return May 1, 2027, with twice-weekly service, increasing to three weekly from June 14 through Oct. 2, before being canceled.
