Airbus reported a 6.2% year-on-year increase in aircraft deliveries between January and October, bringing its year-to-date total to 621, Reuters reported Friday. The company delivered 74 jets to 45 customers in October, slightly below the 78 delivered in the same month a year earlier. To meet its widely watched 2026 goal of 870 deliveries, Airbus needs to hand over roughly 249 aircraft by year-end. Reuters also notes that analysts at Jefferies expected 77 deliveries in October. Airbus delivered four A330 widebodies and 39 A321neo single-aisle jets last month, and said quality issues affecting some of these models have been contained, according to CEO Guillaume Faury. Airbus sold 202 planes in October, bringing gross orders to 1,376.
