Atlas Air Worldwide Completes Strategic Investment in Air Atlanta

Atlas Air Worldwide has completed a strategic investment in Air Atlanta, acquiring a 49% minority equity interest to form a partnership that boosts Atlas’ widebody capacity access in key international markets. Air Atlanta will keep operating under its existing leadership and structure, with its management team retaining 51% control of the airline operating companies. Through its Titan Aviation Holdings subsidiary, Atlas also acquired aircraft owned by the Air Atlanta group and will lease them back for continued operations.
