Jets Re-Sign Walker Duehr Ahead of Free Agency

The Winnipeg Jets announced a two-year, two-way contract extension with forward Walker Duehr, starting in the 2026-27 season, with an NHL average of $875,000 and about $425,000 in the AHL. The 28-year-old winger appeared in three NHL games this season and spent most of 2025-26 with the Manitoba Moose, posting 17 goals and 17 assists in 62 regular-season games, plus three points in seven playoff games. Duehr, a Calgary Flames draftee from Minnesota State University, has played 95 NHL games with seven goals and 21 points overall, and 112 points in 205 AHL games. The Jets aimed to retain a reliable depth option ahead of the 2026-27 roster reshaping.
