Patriots Announce Injury to $24 Million Ex-Jets Starter During Game

The New England Patriots issued another injury update on Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, this time involving their offensive line. Veteran right tackle Morgan Moses suffered an ankle injury and is listed as questionable to return for the Oct. 18 matchup. The report, shared by ESPN’s Mike Reiss on X, adds pressure to a unit already dealing with uncertainty. Moses, 35, is in the second season of a three-year, $24 million contract signed with New England in March 2025. The team also monitors tackle Will Campbell, whose knee injury kept him questionable early in the week before he was cleared to play. If Moses remains out, rookie Caleb Lomu—selected No. 28 overall in the 2026 NFL draft—could provide depth.
