Pilot, 30, who travelled from Reading to Merseyside to a rape child, is jailed
A former airline pilot has been jailed for nine years after admitting grooming and raping a 12-year-old girl he met via Instagram. Prosecutors said Kwame Yeboah, 30, contacted the victim online in late 2025 while living in Reading and that early messages appeared ordinary, with the girl initially claiming she was 17. Authorities said conversations later became increasingly sexual and that the exchange indicated she was significantly younger, including references to school and images in a school uniform. In February 2026, Yeboah traveled from Reading to Merseyside late in the evening, drove the child around, and then took her to an isolated location where prosecutors said he raped her three times. She later reported the incident after a relative was informed. At Liverpool Crown Court on April 22, 2026, Yeboah pleaded guilty to three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, and he gave “no comment” during interview. Investigators said they identified him using details shared with the child.
