xCruzo Brief
American Airlines reported another tire incident at Chicago O’Hare, the third in a little over a week and the fifth in less than a year at the airport. Around 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, FAA records say American Airlines flight 3280 reported two blown tires while taxiing for departure. No injuries were reported. Passengers were able to deplane and were bused back to the terminal, then boarded a different aircraft to continue to their destinations. The FAA has opened investigations to determine why tire problems have been occurring frequently. American Airlines said the aircraft returned safely and would re-depart shortly on a replacement plane.
