United Airlines Offers Starlink on Nearly Half of Daily Flights

United Airlines says SpaceX’s Starlink is now installed on more than 635 aircraft—nearly half of its daily departures—and the carrier plans to complete installations by the end of 2027. United also stated it is fitting Starlink on about 20 planes per week and that the service is live across its fleet footprint including regional aircraft operated under United Express, plus many narrow-body jets. In addition, United extended its “Switch to Better Wi‑Fi” status-match offer, letting eligible Delta and American loyalty members earn United Premier rewards status through January 2028, provided they meet spending requirements and take a United flight within 90 days. The tracking demand has also led United to add a digital tool so customers can check Starlink availability.
