Boat Captain Charged With DUI as Search Intensifies for Missing 19-Year-Old Woman - Internewscast Journal

Search efforts intensified for missing 19-year-old Marly Kinney after she disappeared during a visit to Grayson Lake, Kentucky, locally known as “Sex Rock,” on Wednesday. Authorities arrested Cameron Conley, 23, the man operating the boat Kinney was on, after he allegedly reported he could not locate a female passenger. A citation filed in Carter District Court, reviewed by FOX 56, says officers detected alcohol on Conley and observed bloodshot, glassy eyes. Conley allegedly took a preliminary breath test showing a blood alcohol level of .137, and a subsequent measurement about 20 minutes later read .135. Conley was charged with operating a boat while intoxicated and released after arrest, with an arraignment set for July 22. Kentucky State Police said the DUI matter remained the only charge and that weather and darkness have complicated the search.
