xCruzo Brief
Three people were injured after a 22-foot fishing boat ran aground early Thursday near the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge, at Lime Point. Coast Guard personnel, along with firefighters from Marin County, Southern Marin, and Tiburon, responded shortly before 6 a.m., according to local fire officials. The boat was disabled and taking in water, and a Coast Guard crew rescued the occupants. One person suffered cardiac arrest, the Southern Marin Fire Protection District said. All of the injured were treated and sent to a hospital. The Coast Guard is investigating the cause; officials said the bridge itself sustained no damage.
