Kentucky man charged with boating under the influence after female passenger, 19, goes missing
Kentucky’s boating-under-the-influence case centers on a missing 19-year-old passenger after a pontoon outing on Grayson Lake. Authorities, including Kentucky State Police and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, began searching after Cameron Conley, 23, reported that Marly Kinney was no longer on his boat and that he couldn’t find her. Conley was arrested Wednesday on DUI charges, with troopers saying they smelled alcohol and Conley admitted drinking, consenting to a breath test. His blood alcohol content was measured at 0.137 and, about 20 minutes later, 0.135, according to court records. Kinney has been missing since 4 p.m. Wednesday. The search uses sonar, K9 teams, drones with thermal detectors, and expanded volunteer efforts, with units working both the lake and nearby trails.
