Cardinals LT Paris Johnson Jr. (biceps) out for season
xCruzo Brief
Arizona Cardinals left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. will be placed on injured reserve for the third straight year after suffering a torn left biceps, head coach Mike LaFleur announced. Johnson will miss the remainder of the season. The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of Arizona’s 36-24 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. LaFleur said surgery is expected “soon” but did not provide a date. A rookie, Jayden Williams, a seventh-round pick from Mississippi, replaced Johnson. Johnson is 25 and started all four games this season and all 47 he played since being drafted sixth overall in 2023 out of Ohio State. The Cardinals (1-3) host the Lions (2-2) Sunday in Glendale, Arizona.
