How I Shop with Caroline Hirons: 'I like a proper knicker'
In an interview-style feature, skincare entrepreneur Caroline Hirons describes her everyday shopping habits and recent purchases across fashion, food, and technology. Hirons, whose skincare career began at Aveda inside Harvey Nichols and who launched her skincare blog in 2010, said her debut book “Skincare” became a Sunday Times bestseller and she later expanded with her Skin Rocks brand and app launched in 2022. She named a Hisense 3S Series DH3S802BT2 tumble dryer as her last treat, citing value and performance. For groceries, she shops at Marks & Spencer for “basics” such as meat and sourdough, and she uses Ocado for staples including water, Coke, and milk. She also said she buys underwear during Calvin Klein sales and that her iPhone is her primary daily tool. Hirons described spending about $1,500 during three New York trips at Frame, buying jeans for about a year, and recalled regretting Balenciaga “sock” trainers bought during lockdown.
