MotoGP: Marc Marquez wins third straight Aragon Grand Prix

MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez boosted his title hopes by winning the Aragon Grand Prix for the third year in a row, moving Ducati within striking distance of Jorge Martin. The victory reduced Martin’s advantage to 19 points as Marquez, 33, claimed his eighth triumph at MotorLand. Coming after he won Saturday’s sprint, Marquez fought an intense contest with Aprilia pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi, overtaking him impressively at high speed on lap six with no contact. Marquez climbed to 237 points, leapfrogging Bezzecchi (232) into second behind Aprilia’s Martín (256), who finished fifth.
