Fabio di Giannantonio led a red-flag interrupted Friday practice at Mugello, showcasing Ducati’s pace as four riders finished inside the top five. He topped FP1 and followed with a 1:44.808s in FP2, 0.183 seconds clear of Francesco Bagnaia on the factory Ducati. Enea Bastianini completed an all-Italian top three for KTM, with Franco Morbidelli fourth for VR46 and Fermin Aldeguer fifth. A late crash by Quartararo triggered a first red flag, while Brad Binder’s KTM stopped near the pits, triggering another stoppage. Bezzecchi and Martin finished seventh and eighth, with Rins and Moreira nailing ninth and 10th as Ducati asserted dominance ahead of Q2 on Saturday.
