Carson Hocevar spun again at Daytona International Speedway, this time wrecking Erik Jones on lap 155 after losing control of the No. 77 Chevrolet. Hocevar had a chance to contend for the lead, but while trying to take a tighter inside-lane corner, the car went loose and hit the wall. Jones couldn’t avoid it and finished the day with his car parked due to heavy damage, dashing a top-10 run. Jones vented on team radio, “F— that dude. Never f— works out.” Hocevar blamed Daytona’s new package instead of apologizing, adding to a pattern that has hurt others and left him 12th in the Chase chase.
