Broad Arrow will auction a one-off Ferrari Shooting Brake Hommage by Dutch designer Niels van Roij, a custom wagon inspired by Ferrari history and built around a big V12. The car is tied to a lineage that began in 1972, when Bob Gittleman commissioned Luigi “Coco” Chinetti Jr. and designer Gene Garfinkle to create an homage to the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Breadvan, originally conceived with aerodynamic race bodywork but intended as a road grand tourer. Van Roij’s build is based on a 2009 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, recreating the Daytona’s visored headlights and all-glass Kamm tail. The 5.9-liter V12 remains factory-rated at 611 hp and 448 lb-ft. The transformation reportedly took about 15,000 hours using CAD and 3D printing plus hand work. It will be auctioned at the Zoute Concours Auction on October 9, with an estimate of $524,000–$757,000.
