Fox MLB: World Series – Toronto Blue Jays vs Los Angeles Dodgers won Outstanding Live Sports Special: Championship Event, while Fox also claimed nine total wins and ESPN earned 10 Emmys overall from 62 nominations. NBC’s Sunday Night Football was named Outstanding Live Sports Series, and Fox’s MLB AL Playoffs won for Outstanding Sports Playoff Coverage. Steve Bornstein received a Lifetime Achievement award; Alex Rodriguez and Mike Tirico won outstanding sports personality and play-by-play, respectively.
