Seattle Choral Company Presents a Concert Featuring Pianist Chen Liang. The Seattle Choral Company will present Chen Liang in recital on May 31, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Seattle. The program spans Purcell, Scarlatti, Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, Zou, and Gershwin, offering a cross-cultural survey of styles; admission is free with suggested donations. Founded in 1982 by Artistic Director Freddie Coleman, the ensemble is known for diverse programming and collaborations with Pacific Northwest Ballet and the Seattle Symphony. Chen Liang studied at the Lynn University Conservatory of Music (B.M.) and Eastman School of Music (M.M., D.M.A.), and has prizes from Lira, Manhattan, and Charleston. He serves as collaborative pianist with the Seattle Choral Company and performs internationally, including engagements at Chengdu City Concert Hall and the Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival.
