Chicago police are investigating an early Tuesday crash-and-grab burglary at a minimart in the Bucktown neighborhood. At 3:09 a.m., a gray Jeep SUV crashed into the Corner Market, located behind a Shell station at the southeast corner of Armitage Avenue and Wood Street. Police said two people entered the store and attempted to take the ATM before giving up, abandoning the Jeep, and running away. CBS News Chicago reported that the Jeep owner provided Ring camera video showing the suspects pulling up near his home in West Woodlawn, close to 60th Street and Vernon Avenue, before leaving with his vehicle. No faces were captured.
