Ukraine says restrictions on Starlink terminal speeds have been lifted after overnight testing, aiming to ease renewed tensions with the United States. Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara said Saturday that monitoring systems are seeing “recovery” of Starlink/Starshield speeds and that connections are stable. He linked the change to direct dialogue and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s stance at the highest level, calling it important for frontline operations, drones, logistics, and communications. Ukraine earlier reported Starshield’s speed was deliberately throttled, disrupting missions. The ministry said Starshield again works above 400 kilometers per hour after being limited to about 161 km/h in recent days.
