Vin Diesel Says 'Fast Forever' Has the 'Best Script I Have Read in Decades': 'I Am Still Crying'

Vin Diesel says he read the script for the 11th “Fast & Furious” movie, “Fast Forever,” and called it the best he’s seen in decades. Posting on Instagram, Diesel—who returns as the franchise’s lead character—wrote that he is “still crying,” and praised the work of screenwriter Michael Lesslie. The post accompanied a trailer for a re-release of the original “The Fast and the Furious,” returning to theaters on Aug. 21 for its 25th anniversary. Diesel also teased that “Fast Forever” will connect back to the first film. Louis Leterrier is set to direct, with Lesslie attached since March.
