In the latest earnings season discussion, several global companies highlighted what they call their India plans, tying strategy to growth in the world’s fastest-growing large economy. Sanmina said it is expanding its Reliance joint venture in India after completing a new facility, focusing on filling additional capacity across multiple end markets. Unilever reported 10% underlying sales growth and 5% volume growth in Q2, aiming to sustain high-single-digit growth through volume, premiumisation and portfolio strength. Philips pointed to double-digit growth driven by premium consumer and healthcare systems and said it sees opportunities for AI-enabled care with Prime Minister Modi and India’s Health Ministry. The Coca-Cola Company cited broad volume growth, investing in affordability and cold-drink equipment. Noble Corporation warned that a planned ONGC deepwater multi-rig exploration campaign may be delayed about one year.
