Hobbs and Whistles struck by cyber attack as 'investigation' underway

The Foschini Group (TFG) has apologized to customers after a cyber attack hit its UK business, affecting the Phase Eight, Hobbs and Whistles brands. TFG said it became aware of the “cybersecurity incident” on Sunday and that it impacted “certain of its IT systems” at TFG London, while other high-street brands such as Inside Story and White Stuff were not affected. The retailer told customers it has reported the issue to UK authorities, and that TFG Africa and TFG Australia operations were not impacted. TFG London said stores are open, but some website features may be unavailable during the investigation, reported as ongoing.
