xCruzo Brief
South African retail group The Foschini Group (TFG) said it discovered a cybersecurity incident on Sunday that affected its UK subsidiary TFG London, including some IT systems used by Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles. The company identified the attack on October 11 and brought in external experts. TFG London told customers there is “no reason to believe” payment information is at risk, though orders placed on or after Sunday may be delayed and websites may be disrupted. It said stores remain open as normal and customers will be contacted if personal data was impacted. The news follows similar UK hacks at H&M and ASOS.
