Bollywood star Salman Khan said on Bigg Boss 20 that he has been targeted by fake AI videos and urged that people who deliberately create such content be jailed. The host warned that AI has advanced to a point where it can place words in anyone’s mouth, calling for legal consequences and new legislation, along with “censorship on social media” to curb the trend. Khan said ordinary people lack the cyber capabilities celebrities have, leaving them and their families vulnerable. In discussing online harassment, he argued that bullying and trolling have shifted onto social media, and that accountability should apply to creators who knowingly distort videos or voices.
