The weekend slate begins Saturday with Roman mission science briefings at 9 a.m. EDT (1300 GMT) and a prelaunch press conference at 10:30 a.m. EDT (1430 GMT). NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman is expected to fly past the rocket and telescope on the pad at 11:45 a.m. EDT (1545 GMT), subject to weather and operational factors. On Sunday at 9:30 a.m. EDT, NASA plans a post-launch briefing. Roman is expected to begin a five-year mission in early 2027.
