Actress Selma Blair arrested after allegedly biting flight attendant, being restrained on flight from LAX to JFK, source says
Selma Blair was arrested after an incident aboard a Delta Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on Sunday night, CBS New York reported. The Port Authority Police said two flight attendants reported injuries; one was bitten and another sustained a laceration. The incident occurred at about 11 p.m. on Delta Flight 938, and law enforcement sources said the flight crew had to restrain Blair. Port Authority officers were called to the plane along with the FBI, which said it was investigating a “potential assault.” Blair, 54, was taken to Jamaica Hospital for evaluation. During transport in an ambulance, sources said she allegedly kicked a PAPD officer, and at the hospital she allegedly assaulted a nurse; Blair remained in custody at the time of reporting. Her attorney said she experienced a medical emergency, received medical attention on arrival, and was in stable condition. Delta reiterated “zero tolerance” for unruly behavior.
