A Delta flight arriving from New York was evacuated Tuesday after landing at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport over a bomb threat, according to reports. Passengers were quickly taken into the terminal while investigators searched the Airbus A330 twin-jet plane, the Jerusalem Post reported. Authorities received word of an explosive onboard, but the threat turned out to be false after the aircraft was checked. “The incident has ended with no unusual findings. Operations have returned to normal,” an Israel Airports Authority spokesperson told Ynet. Delta operates a daily JFK–Tel Aviv route. The flight departed JFK just after 3:30 p.m. Monday and landed around 8:30 a.m. local time. It was not clear how many passengers and crew were on board.
