Lil Wayne assistant lawsuit exposes unusual job requirements
Lil Wayne assistant lawsuit exposes unusual job requirements, as court documents describe what a former personal assistant allegedly had to do while working for the rapper. The details surfaced in an ongoing lawsuit filed by Andrew Williams, who says he worked for Wayne for several years before a legal dispute tied to an alleged 2022 incident aboard a private jet. Williams claims Wayne assaulted him after he tried to intervene during a disagreement between the rapper and the pilot; Wayne denies wrongdoing and says any incident was self-defense. According to the filed documents, the assistant role included being available around the clock, keeping the phone charged, traveling when needed, and managing scheduling and small purchases. The paperwork also reportedly required waking Wayne on time and handling more personal tasks such as rolling blunts, restocking pre-rolls and rolling papers, and maintaining “pleasant personal hygiene.” The court filing emphasizes discretion via non-disclosure agreements, while the case remains unresolved.
