Free test drives of EV's coming to Kal Tire Place in Vernon this fall

Plug'n Drive will bring its Western Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) to Kal Tire Place in Vernon from Sept. 3 through Oct. 4, giving residents free test drives of multiple electric vehicles. The event runs Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Plug'n Drive EV Ambassadors offering expert, sales-free guidance. Attendees can also learn about home charging, operating costs, winter range, and government incentives. Planned vehicles include the Cadillac OPTIQ, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Hyundai IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9, Nissan LEAF, Toyota bZ, Toyota Prius PHEV, and Volvo EX60 PHEV. Test drivers must be at least 21 with a full licence; passengers aged nine and older can ride with an adult.
