Hingham's Lilly Reale traded to Boston. When you can see her play

Lilly Reale was traded from Gotham FC to Boston Legacy FC on June 17, returning home to the Boston area. Gotham receives 350,000 dollars in allocation money and 50,000 dollars in intraleague funds, and Reale signed a four-year contract through 2029. The 22-year-old defender will join Sammy Smith on Legacy’s roster after earning 2025 NWSL Rookie of the Year honors. Reale started all 26 Gotham games in 2025, led in interceptions with 36 and ranked second in tackles with 54. She has nine USWNT caps and was UCLA’s Pac-12 Defender of the Year in 2025. Reale said she is excited by Legacy's direction and the opportunity to contribute.
