Marc Marquez reveals "big mistake" that made Aragon GP win "difficult"

Marc Marquez said a “big mistake” at the start of the Aragon Grand Prix made his win “difficult.” The reigning MotoGP champion dropped from first to third on lap 1 after failing to disengage a rear ride-height device before the race start. He launched well from second on the grid and passed pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi into Turn 1, but when he reached Turn 2 the rear bottomed out, letting Bezzecchi’s Aprilia and Jorge Martin overtake. Marquez later repassed both and held off Pedro Acosta to take his fourth win of the season. Marquez also moved back into the title fight, jumping to second, 19 points behind Martin after Ai Ogura withdrew and Bezzecchi finished third twice.
