Cincinnati Children's Awarded Up To $17.25 Million to Advance Longitudinal Autism Research

Cincinnati Children's has been selected to receive up to $17.25 million over five years to join ARIA's IMPACT Network, a global effort to accelerate autism research. The hospital will be one of 12 initial sites enrolling youth with autism into a longitudinal study designed to speed future therapeutic trials. Researchers will gather detailed biological and developmental data over time, including EEG, genetic testing, and developmental assessments, to better match participants to emerging therapies. The initiative emphasizes inclusion of historically underrepresented groups and aims to advance trial readiness for new treatments.
