HSCC publishes AI clinical resilience playbook to help healthcare organizations manage patient safety, cybersecurity risks - Industrial Cyber

The Health Sector Coordinating Council (HSCC) has released a 26-page “Playbook for AI Clinical Resilience” (PAICR) through its Cybersecurity Working Group. The framework is meant to help healthcare delivery organizations manage safety, security and operational risks as AI becomes embedded in clinical workflows, including triage, diagnostics, patient monitoring, documentation, scheduling and care coordination. It guides cross-functional teams from threat detection to patient-safety review, regulatory response and system remediation, based on factors such as workflow criticality, the type of AI function (e.g., generative, decision support, automation) and the level of integration with systems like EHRs.
